MAESTRO BRAVEST: LIFE MUSIC SAT DOWN WITH CHURCH HALL MUSIC PIONEER

Welcome to the second installment of updates of what’s going on at Life Music Courtesy of our friends at Gospel Hydration HQ.

Life Music is creating a streaming App catered solely to Christian artists with better remuneration than other platforms. THE APP IS COMING OUT SOON SO WATCH THIS SPACE GUYS. In the meantime, I encourage you to follow my company Life Music on all socials (@thelifemusicapp). We have a Podcast that has featured guests from all over the world including ATL rapper Suave Colione, Konola, Dia Day, Shack Santima, Eliza King and so many more

Last week we spoke to Maestro Bravest who is a Gospel Dancehall artist who coined the name Church hall to describe his music and mission.

Dancehall is a Caribbean genre which is often known for artists who create socially conscious music on one hand and Music that has lyrics that glories in boasting and immorality on the other. Maestro Bravest is an artist who intends to employ the style to make music that communicates the Gospel Message.

His story begins with one point in his life when he was considering walking away from the faith he knew because of difficult circumstances. However, after a supernatural demonic attack and calling on Jesus to save him, the artist placed his faith in Jesus and has publicly expressed his unwavering fidelity to the savior.

Though part of his life is based in Jamaica the London-based artist is a well-loved artist who is often asked to collaborate with a wide range of artists particularly rap and drill artists. This is one of the topics we discussed in the podcast.

In the interview we also discussed how many might feel uncomfortable with his music bearing in mind the cultural context from which the music genre is derived. However, Maestro asserts that like other genres like Rap and Rock. Artists are called not to to forsake making that kind of music but rather employ the talents to create music as witnesses of Jesus Christ and His gospel.

The artist is also involved in boxing and uses it as a tool to mentor the youth. We asked him who he deems are the best heavyweight boxers but I would only ask avid boxers to weigh in on the subject as I as a football fan cannot do so.

Check out his great music on your streaming platform and follow him on social media (instagram @maestro_bravest)
