More than enough is the new song to be released by UK worship leader and songwriter April Ballard, to be released on 25 th August 2023. The song is part of April’s new 5 track EP ‘Daughter of Zion’ that will be released over the coming months, produced by Stian Vedoy, mastered by Johnny Bird and distributed via Essential Music Publishing. The EP will feature collaborations with Tim Stephenson of Emissary and other worship leaders from across the UK.
April’s prayer in releasing this song is that the listener would have a life changing encounter with Jesus, that will facilitate deeper connection to the heart of God and ultimately result in a life lived in abundance. More than enough is a song for those seeking to respond to the mercy of God through the revelation of forgiveness. The song came about as April spent a season praying an ancient prayer from Psalm 139 – ‘Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting’ this led to a season of deep conviction and discipleship. In this process the words ‘guilt you’re not my partner, shame you’re not my friend, death you’re not my sentence, I don’t stand condemned’ became a daily mantra to live by and eventually became the first part of the song that was written.
